Program on Negotiation Semester Programs Faculty

Faculty for PON Semester Programs is drawn from the Program on Negotiation community of ADR scholars and practitioners. Selected for their expertise, scholarship and proven teaching ability, PON Seminar instructors utilize a wide range of innovative teaching techniques. Each semester is enlivened by distinguished guest lectures from PON’s consortium universities and from the world of practice. The faculty for 2012-2013 includes:

Stevenson Carlebach, Director of Eque LLC, is an independent trainer  and consultant in the fields of negotiation, communication, and dispute resolution. Much of his work focuses on strategic relationship management for Fortune 500 companies all over the world, including Goldman Sachs, BP Amoco, L.L. Bean, Citigroup, IBM, PWC, Microsoft and Deloitte & Touche. In addition to teaching, Stevenson also designs programs, consults and coaches executives. Stevenson is a graduate of Tufts University where he majored in classics and the Boston University School for the Arts where he received his Masters in Fine Arts in Directing.

Debbie Goldstein is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and a Lecturer at Tufts University School of Medicine. In the private sector, she is the Managing Director of Triad Consulting, a Cambridge-based consulting firm specializing in the field of conflict resolution. In the public sector, she founded and ran a free legal aid clinic called LINK (Legal Initiative for Kids) for the patients at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Chelsea outpost. Debbie graduated from Williams College and Boston College Law School.

David Seibel is a conflict management consultant in the fields of mediation, negotiation and communication. He received his J.D. at Harvard Law School where he served as President of the Harvard Mediation Program. As co-founder of Insight Partners and Insight Collaborative, David provides mediation and negotiation training world-wide. He mediates a wide range of private disputes and specializes in family and business contexts.

Gillien Todd is a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School, where she received her J.D. At HLS, she teaches the negotiation workshop for law students and continuing education courses for attorneys and other professionals. In addition, as a consultant, she works with individuals, groups and organizations as a mediator, facilitator, and negotiation trainer.
