Tara Pope joins Harvard Law School and the Program on Negotiation from Tufts University College, where she served as Director of Marketing & Communications. As the first in this role, she built the marketing function and led strategy across Pre-College, Professional & Continuing Education, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute programs. She modernized digital and paid media operations, introduced lead-generation and audience-segmentation infrastructure, and implemented SEO and AI-driven content strategies that improved visibility, engagement, and enrollment.

With more than 25 years of experience in digital marketing and technology, Tara blends brand storytelling with performance marketing to drive growth. She has presented nationally at the American Marketing Association’s Higher Education Symposium and multiple UPCEA Marketing & Enrollment Management Adult Learner Conferences on topics like AI search, the enrollment funnel, and data-driven strategy. Prior to higher education, she held roles at local brands and agencies including: Arnold Worldwide, e-Dialog, Rue La La, Sallie Mae, and more, bringing broad industry experience across e-commerce, financial services, and emerging marketing technology.
