About the talk:

Why is conflict in every workplace? Because there are so many different types of people with different needs, and they often have no idea how to work together.

Dr. Fowler’s book, Rising Above Office Conflict, combines information from hundreds of theoretical and academic books on workplace conflict and the author’s experience and education presented through humorous and relatable stories. Fowler’s talk will identify common behaviors, share data that shows positive conflict resolution and tools to create a plan for rising above your office conflict. Responses to conflict resolution are examined from the lenses of gender, faith, and neurodiversity. The book is written as a guide with simple steps for navigating conflict. The first half focuses on conflict assessment; the second half focuses on action.
