The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, the Middle East Forum at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, the Middle East Initiative at KSG, and the Program on Negotiation present a discussion with Ambassador Terje Roed-Larsen.

Ambassador Terje Roed-Larsen is currently the United Nations Special Envoy for the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1559 (on freeing Lebanon from all foreign intervention) and the president of the International Peace Academy. Prior to this position he was the UN’s Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, and the Secretary General’s Personal Representative to the Palestinian Authority. Mr. Roed-Larsen is also known as a principal architect of the 1993 Oslo Process. His experience in international negotiation and mediation is extensive and expansive.
