The PON Film Series provides a forum to view documentary and feature films followed by faculty-led discussions about negotiation theory and practice. The Film Series also presents and honors individuals whose films increase understanding of negotiation and conflict transformation. Read more 


The Herbert C. Kelman Seminar on International Conflict Analysis and Resolution series is sponsored by the Program on Negotiation, The Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, and Boston area members of the Alliance for Peacebuilding. The Great Negotiator Award was established in 2000 to recognize the extraordinary accomplishments of outstanding negotiators. The award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to developing the theory and practice of negotiation and dispute resolution during their lifetimes. Read more 

The American Secretaries of State Project (SOSP) is a collaborative effort of PON at Harvard Law School, the Belfer Center’s Future of Diplomacy Project at Harvard Kennedy School, and Harvard Business School. SOSP illuminates and chronicles the negotiation experiences of former U.S. Secretaries of State. Read more

Since 2005, we’ve explored the relationship between negotiation and strategic nonviolent action. These activities focus on negotiation and nonviolent action as tools for resolving conflict and examine how practitioners in both fields can learn from each other. Read more
