Mediator’s Toolbox: Key Skills Training Part One

Active Listening, Facilitation, and
Assumption Exploration

Tuesday March 9th
5:15-7:30pm
Room TBA, Harvard Law School

Join us for the second event in a series provided to introduce students to the field of mediation.

This training will provide a brief overview of three commonly used tools of mediation – Active Listening, Facilitation, and Assumption Exploration. These tools focus on the process or method with which a mediator communicates with a party to a dispute, and when employed effectively, can create great benefits not only in the context of mediation, but also in many instances throughout daily life. These tools will be presented by members of the Harvard Mediation Program in three short modules with opportunities to practice these key skills.

Dinner will be provided.

Please RSVP to Sarah Whitman at swhitman@law.harvard.edu by Friday, March 5th.
