The Silver Ore Resort & Hotel, located on 340 acres just outside of Telluride, Colorado, has a rich history going back to the late 1800s, when it serviced miners and fortune seekers. With the advent of downhill skiing in the 1970s, it has developed into one of the premiere resorts of the Rocky Mountains: in addition to providing opulent western chic lodging, it has a reception space with expansive views of the San Juan Mountain Range and the aptly named Bridal Veil falls. While the resort usually fills up quickly during the summer because of the Telluride Bluegrass and Film Festivals, the COVID-19 pandemic has decimated their usual business. However, a celebrity couple is looking to book their wedding at the Silver Ore Hotel, and if the hotel can meet their demands and host guests safely, it would be a great publicity opportunity for the hotel. The Resort Manager and the Wedding Planner are scheduled to discuss a potential booking contract.
