Program on Negotiation (PON) Managing Director, Susan Hackley, was interviewed for an article in The Jewish Advocate about the Women2Women International Leadership Conference Cultural Exchange sponsored by Empower Peace, a Boston-based nonprofit organization.

The Empower Peace Women2Women conference is a five-day forum aimed at empowering future young women leaders from the Middle East, Near East, and the United States. Through a series of workshops, keynote speeches and cultural outings, participants acquire skills and insight on how to become future leaders.

Susan has been part of the program since it launched in 2005. She leads a workshop that teaches the young women the skills and benefits of negotiation at home, school, and the workplace. She says, “We’re trying to help them understand that even in the midst of conflict, they have the tools to help them.”
