Sara Cobb to Direct ICAR

By — on / News

The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School extends its best wishes to Dr. Sara Cobb, soon to become Executive Director of the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR) at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Cobb has served as Executive Director of PON for two years, during which she has developed a wide range of new initiatives and projects. These have furthered the Program’s objectives, particularly in the areas of education and new disciplinary approaches to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). She has also focused on developing the Program’s presence on the world wide web.

Dr. Cobb will assume her new ICAR post on June 15, 2001. The current structure of PON, including its on-going projects and commitments will remain unchanged. Please watch this website for updates and details on Program activities or contact the PON faculty or staff members directly responsible for them.

Please join the Steering Committee and the rest of the PON community in thanking Dr. Cobb for her energetic vision. We are sure her tenure at ICAR will be marked by new ideas, innovations, and enhanced connectivity within the ADR community, including her colleagues at the Program on Negotiation.
