Presented by The Program on Negotiation and The Harvard Law School Black Law Students Association.

The new African-American coach (Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington) of the football team at a recently integrated and racially polarized high school wins the respect of his reluctant white assistant, forges a winning team from the originally bigoted and skeptical players, and unites a divided and volatile community in a film based on a true story of events in Alexandria, Virginia in 1971.

Discussion following the film will be led by Douglas Stone, Harvard Law School Lecturer on Law and co-author of Difficult Conversations: How to Discuss What Matters Most, and Nicole Lawson, 3L and Black Law Students Association member.
