The Shape of the Future

Event Date: Tuesday February 28, 2006
Time: 7:00 P.M.
Location: Langdell North, Harvard Law School

Please join the Program on Negotiation for a screening of The Shape of the Future, a 2005 documentary that focuses on the most controversial final status issues confronting Israel and Palestine today: settlements, refugees, Jerusalem, and security. The Shape of the Future was the first television series ever to be simultaneously broadcast on Israeli, Palestinian, and Arab Satellite television.

The Shape of the Future portrays on a very human level what an eventual peace settlement could look like from the perspectives of Israeli and Palestinian citizens. It shows that agreements are possible that do not threaten the national existence of either party. The emphasis is on the future, not on the past.

Executive Producer John Marks (President and CEO of Search for Common Ground) will introduce the program and facilitate a discussion following the film.

Free admission, pizza and drinks.
