About the speakers:

Panelist Kimberlyn Leary is an associate professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School and chief psychologist at the Cambridge Health Alliance. She is also currently the Advisor to the Council on Women and Girls at the White House. Kimberlyn’s global work on conflict negotiations includes studying “critical moments” in mediations to end armed conflict in Southeast Asia and researching social enterprise ventures in the Middle East.

Panelist Alain Lempereur is the Alan B. Slifka Professor and Director of the Coexistence and Conflict Program at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. For 20 years, in over 50 countries, Alain has run research, executive education and consulting missions for international organizations, national governments, global consulting firms and corporations. He belongs to the UN mediators’ network. Alain is also a member of PON’s Executive Committee.

Panelist Hugh O’Doherty is a Senior Associate with the Cambridge Leadership Associates, was the Program Director at the Glencree Center for Peace and Reconciliation of Ireland and directed the Northern Ireland Inter-Group Relations Project. Hugh has consulted with a wide variety of clients including the Irish Civil Service, the American Leadership Forum, the Episcopalian Clergy Leadership Program, the City of Somerville, and the Mohawk Community Leadership Program in Canada. He has consulted in Bosnia, Croatia and Cyprus and has addressed the United Nations Global Forum on Re-Inventing Government.

Moderator  Samuel (Mooly) Dinnar  is an instructor for the Harvard Negotiation Institute at Harvard Law School and an experienced mediator.  A former NE-ACR board member, Mooly has also lived and worked in Europe and Israel for many years, gaining invaluable experience in negotiations dealings across various continents and cultures.
