There are many conflicts among family members that lend themselves to negotiated resolution. Family-run businesses and family-run foundations are two such contexts. Negotiation is not an alternative to therapy, but there are financial and other disputes among individual family members (e.g. spouses, parents and children, etc.) that can be handled through mediation.
