Peacemaking-from-the-Ground-Up Student Discussion GroupThe mission of the Peacemaking-from-the-Ground-Up Student Discussion Group is to explore and discuss the stories of grass-roots peacemakers and their contribution to the field of negotiation. We focus on hearing stories from peacemakers who work at the grassroots level and learning about how they have used their negotiation skills. By reading articles and attending events at Harvard University and PON, we will learn more about the specific negotiation skills used by peacemakers. This will be useful for students interested in working in the field, especially at the grassroots level. Students will also have the opportunity to lead discussions and reflect on their own experiences working on the ground as peacemakers.Past EventsThe EU as a Peacemaker: An Actor to Take into Account The War on Terror: How do Peacemakers Respond?
