The Harvard Negotiation Project is best known for Getting to Yes, the 1981 bestseller written by Roger Fisher, William Ury and Bruce Patton. Since then, members of HNP have written some 15 books and dozens of articles on negotiation theory and practice. Such articles have appeared in such diverse publications as the New York Times, the Boston Globe, Fast Company, the Negotiation Journal, and Glamour.

This site features full chapters of three out-of-print books written by Roger Fisher: Dear Arabs, Dear Israelis, International Conflict for Beginners, and Points of Choice. The full text of articles and op-eds written at the Harvard Negotiation Project are also available.
