Jeremy McClane is a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School and a Clinical Instructor in the Harvard Negotiation and Mediation Clinical Program.
Jeremy has experience with dispute resolution both domestically and internationally. Domestically, Jeremy has taught negotiation courses at Harvard Law School, as well the Harvard Negotiation Institute. He has also taught negotiation courses for a number of private and public entities.
Internationally, his professional experience includes working for the law firm of Allen & Overy in London and Paris, and Goldman Sachs International in London, where he conducted negotiations for a variety of international financial transactions. He began his involvement in dispute resolution as a Fulbright Scholar in Lithuania, where he conducted a research project on democracy in post-communist countries. There he examined the dynamics between traditional and progressive political factions.
His current research focuses on the influence of technology in changing the nature of disputes and dispute resolution processes.
Jeremy is a graduate of Michigan State University and Harvard Law School.
Following law school Jeremy clerked for the Honorable Thomas Penfield Jackson of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, and the Honorable Richard J. Cardamone of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Jeremy is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center.
