I must say that I found particularly interesting above all in the light of the 73 expropriations that had taken place in my country, Venezuela, sice the goverment decided that some oil activity related services must be owned and administered by the state, due to its strategic value. Now that negotiations have begun to set a fair value to the possesions expropriated is that the subject of this article seems so helpful to understand some atttudes of the people at the negotiating table.I must add since my firm was contacted by some members of the Venezuelan Oil Chamber to advise about how to conduct the negotiations with PDVSA, that I would appreciate to stablish contact with professor Bazerman.
