One Response to “When advice to negotiators is wasted”

I don't think advice is wasted. Mutated (mutilated?), perhaps, but not wasted. I am reminded of the aphorism, you can't fire a cannon out of a canoe. Asking advice broadens one's base of information from which one can work. For example, while I learn a lot from my wife about parenting, I am bad at emulating her approach to parenting. I can learn from her advice, but I can almost never "do" her advice nearly as well as she can. Reply
