About the Event

Can women mediators change the focus, dynamic, and, ultimately, the outcome of peace negotiations? How can policymakers increase the inclusivity of those talks?

Join five women leaders from diverse countries as they share their experiences mediating an end to violent conflict at the community, national, and international levels. Ambassador Swanee Hunt, Eleanor Roosevelt Lecturer in Public Policy and chair of The Institute for Inclusive Security, will moderate the discussion.

The forum will provide an opportunity to hear firsthand about the broad range of tactics women are using to mediate for peace. The discussion will be opened to the audience.
