    It can be particularly difficult to establish a fair price if the negotiating parties are at different levels. For example, if one party owns his/her own construction company and the other party is merely an employee at his/her consumer goods or services company, the lines between cost price, wholesale price, retail price are blurred. It may be necessary for both parties to get other bids on the goods/services to be bartered in order to determine what is fair. Reply
